Simple Freekeh Pilaf

1 cup wholegrain or cracked freekeh
1 cup chicken stock
½ onion chopped
1 clove garlic finely chopped
1 tbs olive oil
salt and pepper

Saute onion in olive oil till golden brown
Add chicken stock and freekeh.
Bring to a boil, cover and reduce heat 20 minutes for cracked freekeh 40 minutes for whole grain.
