Freekehlicious Pesto

2 cups of fresh basil, leaves only, washed and dried

3 medium cloves of garlic finely chopped

½ cup of raw pine nuts

3/4 cup Locatelli cheese grated

3 tablespoons of extra-virgin olive oil

3 to 4 cups cooked Wholegrain Freekehlicious
1. Chop garlic along with of the basil leaves.

2. Add in half the pine nuts and chop, then the rest and chop.

3. Add half of the Locatelli cheese and chop, then add the rest and chop.

4. Transfer to bowl. Shape into a ball and flatten center and add the olive oil.

5. Set aside or place it in the refrigerator until you are ready to use it.

6. Before using drizzle a little more olive oil and stir into your freekeh.
