Cracked Freekehlicious is similar in texture to bulgur wheat. A very versatile form of freekeh -- It is excellent to use as an ingredient in vegetarian burgers, stuffing recipes, and soups.
On stove top in a small saucepan, place ½ cup of Freekehlicious and 1½ cups of water or broth and bring to a boil. Stir, reduce heat to simmer. Cover and cook. Cook for 20-25 minutes.
Remove from heat and let stand for 5 minutes. Drain any remaining water. Yields 1½ cups.
